Weird Little Island

Sentosa is touted as "Asia's Playground." It's really a weird little island that's trying to be a big amusement park for adults and kids. The casino is there and so is the aquarium and Universal Studios. We got off the light rail from Vivo City at the Imbiah stop and immediately saw some big replica Merlion. Then we walked all over trying to figure out how to get to Shangri-la Resorts only to be told we couldn't walk there. Free busses go everywhere though. And next time we will know to bring a bathing suit with us cause it seems anyone can go swimming at Shangri-la. If we just bring our own towel, no one will know we're not hotel guests!

Finally we made our way to Shangri-la Resorts and made ourselves at home in some air conditioned ballroom. Everything looks like a diaper changing table to us now.

 

Next time with bathing suits we'll jump into the actual pool
