Warning: Many Photos!!

For a good chunk of the day, Simba was surrounded by four adults and two cameras with new sights to see. The results are as follows:

We all walked towards Chinatown along Eu Song Ten Street to see New Year's decorations. It's the year of the horse! Or Christmas reindeer?

Din Tai Fung #2
Too bad Simba's face reflects how we all felt about Din Tai Fung at Chinatown Point. It took an hour after we ordered before we got lukewarm xiaolongbao. They may have been short staffed due to the new year.

Patterns outside the mosque in Chinatown

B remembers being totally impressed by this temple when she first visited as a ten year old.
More New Year's decorations outside the Buddhist temple

On our way to Gardens by the Bay
The new Sands casino looks like a UFO landed on it

And it does look like we've landed on a different planet (called "Super Treetops")

Simba, on this planet we wear leg warmers.

My parents actually think I'm a lion. HA!

We went to the Cloud Forest first. It was pretty cool!

Here's this picture from one angle. Good luck guessing what's happening in the wider shot below.

Not sure how much of a hint this is, but we we're told shortly before this photo was taken that the plants behind us are carnivorous.

I don't know why this place had so many lions

But Carlos was happy cause it encouraged Simba to ROAR!!
After the Cloud Forest, we realized it was Simba's feeding time. Literally two minutes after Simba was done feeding, it was Bethany's turn (for some whisky).

We were cheering Go on to finish his Singapore Sling. Anyone who has drank with us will know that we are chanting "iki iki iki iki iki!!!!"

Happy New Year from Singapore!!
