Orchard Road

Katie and Go went to the airport on Saturday night, but we will be here for two weeks total eating! On Sunday, more stores began opening again. So after our failed attempt to go to Ngee An City the day before, we went again to Orchard Road on Sunday with Yee Ma. Many of the stores in Ngee An City had a lion dance to welcome the new year and bring good fortune. We ate good, hot xiaolongbao, dumplings, tofu, bamboo shoots, and noodles from one of the Jade restaurants. Simba ate in one of the fanciest baby rooms we've seen. We found Chinese children books at Kinokuniya. We enjoyed beers and sausages for an early dinner. 

And the fun didn't stop there. When Yee Jerng got back around 11pm from Indonesia we were beginning to get hungry again and we got to eat so many goodies still hot from Jakarta. Happy New Year, indeed.
