Preparing for the New Year

Singapore! We arrived on Tuesday evening and thanks to Yee Ma and Yee Jerng immediately settled into some Tiong Bahru hawker center food for dinner. Then we started off the day on Wednesday with some congee for breakfast. For lunch, we had prawn with noodles in pork soup, fried turnip cake and egg, and Hainanese chicken rice. Then we rounded off the day with some more take away Hainanese chicken rice when Katie and Go arrived. 

Here we go, fat kids, here we go.

Simba was still tired from the plane ride, but wouldn't stop staring at all the local characters when we went for jook.
Fish shopping for the new year before all the hawker center shops close!
