In direct contrast to what's happening in the States, we have landed in 90 degree Australian weather (to be followed in a few weeks by Singapore's humidity). Not sure what's better.
In an attempt to avoid the midday heat, we went to South Melbourne Market in the late morning and Half Moon Bay in the early evening. Not sure if the heat is inciting bad tempers, but we didn't encounter the nicest people yesterday in both places (in Carlos's words, "Australians are assholes").
Dim sims (fried mystery meat) are a thing in Australia.
Simba refuses to sleep without a dim sim.
B was yelled at for taking a photo of what was apparently this person's house opposite the market so figured we should post it for all the trouble.
Simba still won't sleep at the end of our market visit.

Towards Brighton Beach
Papa, didn't you just lay me down in the snow?
Relaxing with fish and chips at Half Moon Bay after Carlos's confrontations with Australians in the beach parking lot. Guess we haven't shaken off the New York attitude yet. ;)

Maybe we need more of these sunsets at Half Moon Bay (though we kept having to swat at flies!!).
