Come Here, Shampoo

"Oide, Shampoo" (Come Here, Shampoo) is the tune we heard as we were ringing in 2014 with friends. And we watched gas being shot up comedians' bum holes on TV. Japanese TV may have Dick Clark's New Year's Eve beat. 

On New Year's Day, we woke up to a delicious, traditional Japanese New Year's breakfast with Carlos's entire family. Then we went over to Carlos's grandparents' place for a visit.

This past year was momentous. Bethany taught someone how to use functions on the iPhone. Carlos became a pretend [fantasy] football champion. And Simba graduated to the next size of Pampers. 

Cheers to 2014 being filled with as many everyday moments of happiness. And here's hoping that we all move as freely and agilely as Carlos's 90 year old baba playing soccer with her 5 year old great grandson on New Year's Day!! Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu!!
