Vegetable Break

[Been in Osaka for a few days so we're gonna do some binge posting]

Didn't think you'd see veggies featured here did you? But we've been having really rich foods and are both still sporting some tummies, so on Tuesday, we figured we'd check out Asantesana Cafe in Ebisu. We're really glad we went. The atmosphere was so calm, the veggies were fresh, the coffee was good. The owner of the shop was the best though! She was so warm--Carlos called her a Japanese farm mom. She made a point to talk to people at each table in a really unimposing way. She's making us want to go back for veggies before we leave Japan!! Besides, the cafe was out of cake, which is supposed to come with the veggie lunch set with coffee. And it wouldn't be right not to try the dessert.

Afterwards we fed Simba in the "baby room" at Marunouchi department store. Tokyo is awesome for nursing moms. There are baby rooms everywhere to feed and play with your kid. Not sure if it's the same in the States cause we've never noticed these things before. But the baby room even had warm, filtered water to mix with baby formula.

Ebisu has some contemporary art galleries and bookstores so after the baby room we wandered over just to browse.

Simba finds a similar looking friend inside the Baby Room.
