A Taste of the U.S.

Carlos's dad's birthday was yesterday so we all indulged in some of his favorite fatty western foods. For lunch, we got burgers (with very handy bags to keep you nice and neat!) at As Classics Diner, a seventies style diner. I know we're in Japan, but it was funny seeing all Asian waiters at an old school diner! After a loooooong walk in Komazawa Koen, for dinner we had Domino's pizza. But not just any Domino's. It's Japanese pizza from Domino's. So we tried crab, shrimp, and mayonnaise pizza; bulgogi pizza; potato, corn, chicken, and barbecue sauce pizza; and iberico ham pizza. And then of course boring old pepperoni. And (of course) Carlos couldn't get over how small the medium sized pizza was. Bethany liked how small the individual slices were, even on the large pizza, so she could easily try all the flavors. Carlos liked that he could eat each slice in one bite.
